about

“Reencontrarnos” was inspired after Marrón witnessed a conversation between a boy and his father while having coffee at a table nearby. The kid asked his dad: “What happens after we die?”

“I felt privileged to have listened to that important question in that kid’s life and to the Dad’s answer to it. I went back to the apartment and wrote the idea of the song. It took me a while to decide to finish it since it’s a hard topic to talk about but I felt it was important for me to do it.”

With this track Jorge Marrón merges his two projects: Marrón & The Acapulco Express, mixing lyrics with instrumental arrangements to bring this story and his love for electronic, synth driven instrumental music to life.

lyrics
